The Mikoyan MiG-23 (NATO reporting name "Flogger") was a Soviet variable-geometry "swing-wing" fighter first shown publicly at the 1967 Moscow air show. Capable of over Mach 2, its variable-sweep wing improved both high-speed performance and airfield handling, and it became one of the most widely produced and exported Soviet combat aircraft of the Cold War. This is Hasegawa's 1/72 scale kit.
