The Kawanishi E7K was a three-seat biplane reconnaissance floatplane operated by the Imperial Japanese Navy from the mid-1930s, given the Allied code name "Alf." Catapult-launched from cruisers and battleships, it was used for long-range scouting and gunnery spotting, with the E7K1 being the initial production version. This is Hasegawa's original 1970-era tooling of the type.
