Description
HAS01621 - Hasegawa 1/72 General Dynamics YF-16/CCV - WWWEB10113243
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The General Dynamics YF-16 was the prototype that won the US Air Force Lightweight Fighter competition and went on to become the F-16 Fighting Falcon. The first prototype, 72-1567, was later modified into the CCV (Control Configured Vehicle) research aircraft, fitted with a pair of vertical canard fins beneath the intake. These allowed "decoupled" flight modes such as flat turns and direct lift, separating the aircraft's flight path from its nose attitude, with the type first flying in this configuration in March 1976. This is Hasegawa's 1989 boxing of its 1/72 YF-16/CCV kit.
