GEC35GM0028 - Gecko Models 1/35 Mk.I Sawn Off Daimler (SOD)
The "Sawn-Off Daimler" (SOD) was a turretless version of the British Daimler armoured car used as a regimental command vehicle during the Second World War, notably by the Inns of Court Regiment and others in North-West Europe. With the turret removed, the crew rode largely exposed, and the vehicles were fitted with extra stowage bins, spare fuel cans ("flimsies"), and a Bren gun. This is Gecko Models' 1/35 scale kit of this rare variant.
