GAMBL3348 - Games Workshop Black Library Starseer's Ruin Paperback
Starseer's Ruin is a Warhammer Age of Sigmar novel by Adrian Tchaikovsky, and his first full-length story set in the Mortal Realms. An age ago, the Seraphon temple-ship Wings of Serendipitous Fire was struck from the skies of Shyish — not by the forces of Chaos, but by the misplaced servants of Sigmar himself. Now, Irixi Starseer, servant of the mage-priest Sek'atta, is dispatched to the ruined temple-ship to recover a shattered prophecy inscribed on its walls. The Stormcast Eternal Vael Scar-Helm is drawn to the same site by a memory that has haunted him through many Reforgings, while the mage Perlo leads a Cities of Sigmar Steelhelm expedition to the ruins in pursuit of rumoured treasure. Three factions of Order — with very different motives — converge on the same wreck, and a greater, more insidious threat stirs beneath it all. The novel follows on from Tchaikovsky's short story Written in Stars.
