The Douglas SBD Dauntless, Grumman TBF Avenger and Grumman F4F Wildcat were the backbone of U.S. Navy carrier air groups in the early years of the Pacific War. In 1942, at the Battle of the Coral Sea and at Midway, Wildcats flew cover while Dauntless dive bombers sank four Japanese carriers, the turning point of the war in the Pacific. The Avenger made its combat debut at Midway and went on to become the Navy’s standard torpedo bomber. This Fujimi Water Line Series set gives you 32 aircraft of all three types, ideal for filling the flight deck of a 1/700 Yorktown, Enterprise, Lexington or other wartime U.S. carrier.

• Injection-moulded plastic parts for 32 aircraft in total
• Douglas SBD Dauntless dive bombers
• Grumman TBF Avenger torpedo bombers
• Grumman F4F Wildcat fighters
• Painting guide on the box back with colour call-outs
