The Sikorsky MH-53J Pave Low III was the U.S. Air Force's heavy-lift special-operations helicopter, developed from the HH-53 "Super Jolly Green Giant" of the CH-53 Sea Stallion family. Its mission was low-level, long-range, all-weather penetration into denied territory — day or night — to infiltrate, extract, and resupply special-operations forces, and it saw notable service in Desert Storm. The fleet was retired in 2008. This is Fujimi's 1/72 kit (series code S-5), a 1993 boxing of their H-53 family tooling.
