Description
FRGF400 - Frog 1/72 Mirage IIIE/O Interceptor/Ground Attack - WWHP111619
Preowned, Original seal, Mint
The Dassault Mirage III was France's landmark delta-wing interceptor, entering service with the Armée de l'Air in 1961 and going on to become one of the most widely exported Western jet fighters of the Cold War. The Mirage IIIE was the multi-role ground attack and long-range interception variant with upgraded avionics; the IIIO was the Australian licence-built version operated by the RAAF from 1963 to 1988. No. 3 Squadron RAAF flew the IIIO from RAAF Butterworth in Malaysia throughout the 1970s. Frog tooled this kit in 1975 to cover both variants in a single boxing. Box art by Chris Golds.
Box Contents:
- Injection-moulded plastic sprues — moulded in dark blue and light blue
- Clear sprue (canopy)
- Air-to-air missiles and underwing stores
- Frog "Skybase" action display stand — poseable in taking off, in flight, diving, and banking positions; free-standing or wall-mountable
