"Farpro Japan" was Aoshima's export brand created in the early 1960s to sell their kits in North America — same plastic, same moulds as the Japanese domestic issues, just repackaged in distinctly no-frills avocado green boxes with hand-lettered English text. Collector interest in these is as much about the packaging history as the kit itself.

The Buffalo needs little introduction — the US Navy's first monoplane carrier fighter, outclassed by the Zero in the Pacific but respected enough in Finnish hands to rack up extraordinary kill ratios against Soviet opponents. The F2A-2 was the improved variant with a more powerful Wright radial. Raised panel lines, vintage early-1960s construction typical of Aoshima's early output. Decals and instructions included.
