The Sturmgeschütz III (StuG III) was a German assault gun built on the Panzer III chassis, and one of the most-produced German armoured vehicles of the Second World War. Originally conceived to provide direct infantry support, later versions were rearmed with a long 7.5cm StuK 40 gun that made it a highly effective and economical tank destroyer. Its low silhouette and reliable chassis kept it in frontline service on all fronts throughout the war.

This is a 1/72 scale plastic model kit. This Aurora/Esci Prestige Series boxing was made in Italy and printed and packaged in the U.S.A.
