Description
EDU7049 - Eduard 1/72 Airco DH-2 ProfiPACK - WWHP111826
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Airco DH.2 was a British single-seat pusher biplane fighter of the First World War, designed by Geoffrey de Havilland. Its rear-mounted engine allowed a forward-firing machine gun without the need for interrupter gear, and after entering Royal Flying Corps service in 1916 it played a major part in ending the "Fokker Scourge" and restoring Allied air superiority over the Western Front, most famously with No. 24 Squadron. This is Eduard's ProfiPACK edition (new tool, 2003), which includes photo-etched detail, masks, and markings for four RFC aircraft.
Box contents:
- Grey injection-moulded plastic sprues
- Photo-etched fret for detail parts (including pre-coloured items)
- Acetate film for instruments
- Pre-cut self-adhesive masking sheet
- Waterslide decal sheet (four No. 24 Sqn RFC and Army Air Park options, 1916)
- Full-colour illustrated instructions with rigging and painting guide
