DRA6804 - Dragon 1/35 JS-2m UZTM Production Type Chinese Volunteers - WWHP111691
Preowned, Resealed, Mint inside, Box worn
1994 release from Dragon's Korean War Series. Depicts the IS-2m as built at the Ural Heavy Machine Tool Factory (UZTM), with the cast composite bow, wide late-type mantlet, and MK-4 periscope turret. Includes link-and-length tracks, exterior fuel drums, DShK anti-aircraft machine gun, and a reference sheet illustrated by Shin Ueda.
The IS-2 was the Soviet Union's principal heavy tank of the late war, mounting a 122 mm gun that made it a match for the heaviest German armour from 1944 onward. The Soviet Union supplied IS-2s to China in the early 1950s, where they equipped People's Volunteer Army tank regiments during the Korean War. Marking options cover a Chinese Volunteer Army vehicle in Korea (1952) plus wartime Soviet and Czechoslovak 1st Tank Brigade (Prague, 1945) schemes.
Box contents:
- Grey styrene sprues, sealed in original bag
- Olive green fuel drum parts
- Waterslide decal sheet (6804-02, four-plus marking options)
- Instructions and Shin Ueda variant reference sheet
