The Battle of Monte Cassino was a series of four Allied assaults between January and May 1944 aimed at breaking the German Gustav Line and opening the road to Rome. It was fought by a strikingly multinational force, with British, Canadian, New Zealand, Polish, Indian, and Gurkha troops all taking part in the costly attacks on the town and its abbey. This Dragon set reflects that mix, with four figures in assault poses.
