Description
DRA5501 - Dragon 1/48 TA152H1 Focke-Wulf - WWWEB10114512
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Focke-Wulf Ta 152 H was the first true high-altitude fighter of the Luftwaffe, a thoroughly redesigned development of the Fw 190 carrying designer Kurt Tank's initials. A long, high-aspect-ratio wing and a Jumo 213E engine with MW 50 boost gave it exceptional performance at altitude, where it could reach roughly 760 km/h. Deliveries began in December 1944, but only about 60 were built before the war ended, some serving with JG 301 to protect Me 262 jets during their vulnerable take-off and landing. This is Dragon's Master Series kit, based on the highly regarded Trimaster tooling.
Box contents:
- Light-grey-moulded plastic sprues (150 parts)
- Clear sprue (windscreen, canopy, gunsight, lenses)
- Photo-etched detail fret
- Waterslide decal sheet
- Printed assembly instructions with history and specifications
Marking options: Luftwaffe aircraft, including the box-art JG 301 "Green 3" in the late-war Reichsverteidigung scheme. Requires cement and paint; a detailed kit best suited to experienced modellers.
