Description
CDRC72003 - Condor 1/72 Heinkel He 178 V 1 - WWWEB10116327
Preowned, Resealed, Mint inside, Box worn
The Heinkel He 178 was the world's first aircraft to fly on turbojet power, lifting off from Rostock-Marienehe on 27 August 1939 with Erich Warsitz at the controls and Hans von Ohain's HeS 3 engine behind him. It preceded the Gloster E.28/39 by more than eighteen months, though the Air Ministry showed little interest and only two were built. This is a limited run kit from Condor of the Czech Republic, first released in 1994.
Box contents:
- Injection moulded plastic parts for one Heinkel He 178 V1
- Photo-etched detail fret
- Waterslide decal sheet
- Colour painting and assembly manual
This is a short run kit intended for experienced builders.
