Description
BROGB7003 - Bronco - 1/72 Blohm & Voss BV P178 w/ LTF5b Torpedo
The Bronco GB7003 BV P.178 with LTF5b torpedo is a 1/72 scale plastic model kit of an experimental German World War II aircraft concept designed by Blohm & Voss. The BV P.178 was a highly unconventional asymmetric jet dive bomber project, powered by a single turbojet engine mounted off-center beneath the wing. Although never built or flown, it remains one of the most distinctive “Luft ’46” design studies from late-war Germany.
This kit depicts a speculative torpedo-bomber configuration, equipping the aircraft with the LTF5b torpedo, a Luftwaffe naval weapon concept intended for anti-shipping attacks. The combination of jet propulsion and torpedo delivery makes this variant especially unique among experimental aircraft subjects.
Ideal for collectors of alternate-history aviation, experimental WWII aircraft, and Luftwaffe paper projects, this model stands out due to its unusual design philosophy and naval strike role concept.
