The Apocalypse tank is one of the most recognisable vehicles in gaming — the Soviet Union's signature super-heavy war machine from the Command & Conquer: Red Alert series, characterised by its twin 155mm cannons, front-mounted dozer blades, and four independent running gear units. Border Model's 1/35 kit brings it into the physical world with a snap-fit build that requires no glue and no paint, as parts are pre-coloured. A particular standout feature is the built-in LED system: three red spotlights with tactile switches are built into the kit, illuminating the turret and hull for display. Accessories including crates and bottles are included to dress the base. It's a genuinely unusual kit — part AFV model, part gaming collectible — and sits in Border's "BC" fictional vehicle line alongside subsequent releases in the Apocalypse family.
