The Aoshima D010006 1/45 DD51 No.01 is a highly detailed plastic model kit of the JNR Class DD51 diesel locomotive, part of Aoshima’s premium OJ Train Museum series. This large-scale 1/45 model reproduces the iconic Japanese heavy diesel locomotive used extensively across Japan for both freight and passenger service from the 1960s onward, including famous limited express trains such as the Hokutosei.

The DD51 is a centre-cab, twin-engine diesel locomotive known for its distinctive layout, power, and long service life on Hokkaido and mainline routes.
