The Batmobile from Tim Burton's Batman (1989) was designed by production designer Anton Furst as a ground-up original — a jet-turbine-powered, fin-tailed machine with no direct real-world precedent. It became one of the most recognizable screen vehicles of its era. AMT released this 1/25 scale kit the same year as the film, capitalizing on the massive commercial success of the Burton/Keaton production.
