American LaFrance was America's oldest fire apparatus builder, and the 900 Series cab-forward design of the 1960s became the definitive look of the era's fire trucks. The Aero Chief paired it with an articulating "snorkel" elevating platform, giving firefighters a maneuverable aerial bucket instead of a fixed ladder. This is AMT's classic large-scale tooling, reissued in 2001 under the Code Red series.

A big build: over 410 pieces, with a working 90-piece snorkel boom that swivels, elevates, and extends to over 28 inches, plus a complete Detroit Diesel 8V-71 engine and detailed interior and rear deck.
