1975 Series 2 issue of Airfix's 1968 Skyraider tooling, Made in England, in the classic mid-70s Type 4 box with dramatic carrier-attack artwork. Builds the late A-1J variant with a full underwing load of rockets, bombs, and drop tanks. Decals for two US Navy aircraft: the box-art gull grey and white scheme, plus an alternative camouflaged US Navy A-1J in the Vietnam-era three-tone SEA scheme (paint callouts printed on the side panel). 

The Douglas Skyraider was the definitive piston-engine attack aircraft, entering service just after WWII and serving through Korea and Vietnam. Its enormous payload, long loiter time, and toughness made the "Spad" indispensable for close support and rescue escort long into the jet age.
