The Nashorn (Rhinoceros) was a German tank destroyer mounting the 8.8cm PaK 43/1 L/71 gun on a modified Panzer III/IV hybrid chassis. Introduced in 1943, it was one of the most effective long-range anti-tank platforms of the war, serving primarily on the Eastern Front. Around 494 were produced between 1943 and 1944.
