Vallejo Model Air — Camouflage Grey
Subject: Aircraft · Armour
Camouflage grey FS 36170 — US aircraft and vehicles. F-4E Phantom II (USAF, European Theatre), F-111F Aardvark (48th TFW, Lakenheath), US Army vehicles MERDC scheme grey component. Also suitable for cold-climate vehicle camouflage (Scandinavia-based NATO forces) and some Cold War US Navy ship grey schemes.
Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
