Vallejo Model Air — Camouflage Black Brown

Subject: Armour · Aircraft

Black brown FS 37056 — extreme dark camouflage component. USAAF B-17/B-24 Pacific theatre black undersides (some 5th AF aircraft), and as a dark shadow tone for weathered German late-war vehicles. Also suitable for WWII British night-bomber black undersides (Avro Lancaster, Halifax) on some Bomber Command aircraft.

Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
