Vallejo Model Air — IJA Earth Brown

Subject: Aircraft

Imperial Japanese Army earth brown — camouflage component 1941–1944. Ki-43-II/III Hayabusa, Ki-46-II/III Dinah, Ki-49-II Donryu upper surface brown mottle over beige. Also used on Ki-45 Toryu heavy fighter in China-based units 1942–1944.

IJA Fighters — Brown mottle patches over beige

Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
