Vallejo Model Air — IJA Chrome Yellow

Subject: Aircraft

Imperial Japanese Army chrome yellow — training aircraft standard 1938–1945. Kokusai Ki-86 (primary trainer), Tachikawa Ki-9 Spruce and Ki-55 Ida, Mitsubishi Ki-57 Topsy crew trainer. Overall yellow applied to all IJA training aircraft.

Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
