Vallejo Model Air — IJA Midouri Green

Imperial Japanese Army Midori (green) — late-war upper surface standard from 1944. Ki-84-Ia/Ib/Ic Hayate (Nakajima), Ki-100-Ib (Kawasaki), Ki-61-I KAIc/d (modified). Factory-applied from 1944 as simplified production finishes replaced mottled patterns.

IJA Fighters — Factory-applied simplified green from 1944

Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
