Vallejo Model Air — Anthracite Grey
Subject: Armour ยท Universal
Anthracite grey โ post-war German Bundeswehr vehicle colour and Swiss/Austrian military standard. Leopard 1A1/A2 (Bundeswehr 1965โ1980 pre-NATO scheme), Swiss Pz 61/68 (standard khaki-grey). Also suitable for modern civilian emergency vehicles and railway equipment in grey liveries.
Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
