The Vallejo Diorama FX Alkaline White 1–2 mm 35 ml is a ready-to-use acrylic terrain texture designed to recreate light mineral ground, chalky soil, salt flats, and dry alkaline earth surfaces for scale modelling, dioramas, and miniature bases. Its pale white tone combined with a coarse 1–2 mm grain structure makes it suitable for desert salt pans, arctic terrain, wastelands, and other desaturated or alien environments.

Suitable for application on plastic, resin, wood, MDF, and foam surfaces. Can be fixed with acrylic medium or PVA glue and enhanced with pigments, washes, and dry brushing to increase contrast, texture definition, and realism.
