The 737 started life as a stubby short haul twin with the engines bolted straight under the wing, and it went on to become the best selling jet airliner in history. United was one of the earliest customers and flew the -200 across its domestic network for decades. The box art aircraft is N9026U in the 1970s Saul Bass livery, the red, orange and blue scheme United used from 1974 into the early 1990s.

This is the US Airfix boxing of the classic 1970s tooling, moulded in colour, ages 8 through adult.
