The Bismarck carried her main armament in four twin turrets armed with 38 cm SK C/34 guns, designated Anton and Bruno forward, Caesar and Dora aft. Bruno (Turret B) was the forward superfiring position, trained over Anton throughout the engagement with HMS Hood in the Denmark Strait in May 1941, where the Bismarck's gunnery proved devastatingly accurate. Released in 2020, this Takom kit depicts the Bruno turret as a stand-alone display subject in 1/72 scale, complete with photoetched detail parts, a display base, and decals covering five marking options.
