The Takom 5015 1/72 USS Missouri Battleship Mk. 7 16"/50 Gun Turret No.1 is a highly detailed standalone model of one of the three massive main gun turrets fitted to the legendary Iowa-class battleship USS Missouri (BB-63). Each turret housed three 16-inch (406 mm) naval guns capable of firing over one-ton shells at extreme range, making them among the most powerful naval artillery systems ever mounted on a warship.

This kit focuses on Turret No.1, located at the bow of the ship, and reproduces the complex armored structure, rotating base, and triple-gun arrangement in impressive 1/72 scale detail. It captures the industrial scale and mechanical complexity of WWII-era U.S. naval firepower, offering an immersive “cutaway-style” build experience even as a standalone display piece.
