The Toyota Celica XX 2800GT, sold outside Japan as the Celica Supra from 1981, paired sharp wedge styling with a 2.8 litre DOHC six. For the 1982 Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, a Celica Supra was fitted with wide fender flares, a rear spoiler, a roof light bar and a BAE turbocharger boosting output to 230hp, and served as the Formula One race's marshal car. This is Tamiya's original 1983 issue, kit number 2433, which includes the motorized system and Yamaha Beluga scooter left out of the later 24033 reissue.
