The Tyrrell 023 was the team's 1995 Formula 1 challenger, powered by a normally aspirated 3-litre Yamaha OX10A V10 and running Tyrrell's own 6-speed semi-automatic gearbox. A notable technical feature was the "Hydrolink" hydraulically controlled front suspension. The car produced no wins or podiums across the season, with Mika Salo scoring the team's five points. Tamiya's choice of subject reflects the car's Japanese engine, Japanese driver, and Mild Seven tobacco backing. Original new-tool release, first issued in 1996; kit #42 in Tamiya's 1/20 Grand Prix Collection.
