The Lotus 99T was Team Lotus's 1987 Formula 1 contender, powered by a Honda V6 turbo and notable for being one of the first F1 cars to race with an active computerized suspension system. Designed by Gérard Ducarouge, it was raced by Ayrton Senna (#12) and Satoru Nakajima (#11), with Senna taking victories at Monaco and Detroit. It stands as one of the last competitive Lotus F1 cars before the team's long decline.
