The Aston Martin Vantage GTE was based on the V8 Vantage road car and powered by a 4.5 litre V8. Aston Martin Racing ran it in the GTE Am class at the 2015 Le Mans 24 Hours. The #98 car of Paul Dalla Lana, Pedro Lamy and Mathias Lauda led the class for much of the race, but Dalla Lana crashed out in the final hour, which handed victory to their rivals. The car wore Aston Martin Racing’s Gulf blue and orange colours.
