A horse-drawn steam pumper of the type that served American fire departments from the 1860s through the early 1900s — boilers fired on the run, horses galloping to the blaze, Dalmatians trotting alongside. It's a subject with real period character.

The kit includes the steam pumper wagon, a horse team, fireman figures, a Dalmatian dog, a rubber hose, and a metal chain. Mould tools originated with Marlin Models in 1952, passed to Revell who added the horse parts — they weren't in the original Marlin issues — and later sent the moulds to Brazil for the Kikoler market. The moulds were subsequently lost at sea around 1961 during shipment from Brazil to Europe, meaning this Brazilian Kikoler boxing is the last production run ever made from these tools. No reissues have been possible since.
