Description
RMXH-65 - Revell 1/72 Fokker DR-1 Triplane (Collector's Choice) - WWHP111655
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Fokker Dr.I was a German single-seat triplane fighter introduced in late 1917, instantly recognizable by its three stacked wings. The layout delivered an exceptional rate of climb and tight turning ability, making it a deadly close-in dogfighter in skilled hands despite a modest top speed. It became one of the enduring symbols of WWI air combat, flown by Manfred von Richthofen's "Flying Circus" and other leading German aces.
This is the Revell "Collector's Choice" boxing of the 1/72 Fokker Dr.I, copyright 1974 (Venice, CA). The kit includes optional parts and decals to build any one of three aces' aircraft: Manfred von Richthofen (the "Red Baron"), Werner Voss, and Lt. Kempf.
Box contents:
- Injection-moulded plastic parts on sprue, with rotating wheels and propeller
- Two cowl-mounted machine guns
- Waterslide decal sheet with markings for three versions (von Richthofen, Voss, Kempf)
- Illustrated assembly and detailed painting instructions
