RMXH-631 - Revell 1/72 Nieuport 17c - WWHP111653
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Nieuport 17 was a French single-seat biplane fighter introduced in 1916, one of the most important Allied scouts of the mid-war period. Light, agile, and quick to climb, its sesquiplane layout (a full upper wing over a narrow single-spar lower wing) gave excellent maneuverability and downward visibility, though the lower wing could flex under hard diving loads. It was flown by many leading French and Allied aces, including Georges Guynemer and Charles Nungesser, and saw wide service with several air arms.
This is the vintage Revell "Authentic Kits" Warbird-series boxing of the 1/72 Nieuport 17c, litho'd in Canada with complete French instructions, based on Revell's classic 1960s tooling. Box art depicts a French-marked aircraft.
Box contents:
- Injection-moulded plastic parts on sprue, with movable wheels and propeller
- Pilot figure
- Display stand
- Waterslide decal sheet (authentic French markings)
- Illustrated assembly/painting instructions with collector's three-view drawing and aircraft history
