The Fokker Dr.I is one of those aircraft that exists almost entirely in the shadow of one man — Manfred von Richthofen flew it in the final months of his career and was killed in it in April 1918. In reality it was only in frontline service for about six months and was outnumbered by other German types, but its triplane configuration and the Red Baron's association with it made it one of the most recognizable aircraft of the entire war.

Revell's H-52 is the late 1970s boxing of their long-running Dr.I tool, with decals covering von Richthofen's aircraft. Simple raised panel line kit — small parts count, quick build, waterslide decals included. A classic subject in a classic boxing.
