Description
RMX85-5324 - Revell 1/48 F-104G Starfighter - WWHP113599
Preowned, Resealed, Mint inside, Box worn
The Lockheed F-104 Starfighter was developed by the Skunk Works after Korean War pilots asked for a smaller, simpler fighter to take on the MiG-15, and Lockheed took the unusual step of giving it short, straight wings instead of a swept design. Armed with an M61 Vulcan Gatling gun and AIM-9B Sidewinder missiles, it served with the USAF from 1958 to 1969, including in Vietnam, while 140 F-104Gs were built under contract by Canadair and the type went on to a long career with Canadian forces. Revell issued this 1/48 kit in 2013 with Canadian and USAF markings.
- 63 parts moulded in light grey and clear
- Open side panel with Gatling gun detail
- Rear air brakes in open or closed position
