The F-104G was the multi-role version of Lockheed's "missile with a man in it," built in huge numbers under license for NATO air arms. West Germany was the largest operator with nearly 1,000 airframes flying low-level strike and reconnaissance, a demanding role that gave the type its notorious reputation in Luftwaffe service. Box art depicts a Luftwaffe machine, 20+36, in the classic green splinter scheme with wingtip tanks and centreline practice ordnance.

This is the Revell of Germany 1/144 tooling in the blue-stripe box, skill level 3. Finished length is 11.6 cm with a 5.5 cm wingspan, making it a popular subject for 1/144 NATO collections.
