RMX7472 - Revell 1/16 Don Garlits '74 AA/FD Dragster - WWHP111585
Preowned, Original seal, Box worn
Don "Big Daddy" Garlits is widely regarded as the most influential figure in Top Fuel dragster history, credited with pioneering the rear-engine layout that became the standard for the class following a catastrophic front-engine accident in 1970. His 1974 entry, Swamp Rat 18, was a consistent national record holder — running a 5.78-second pass at 247.25 mph at the NHRA SpringNationals and matching that mark with the AHRA the following January. Powered by a Keith Black-prepared supercharged Dodge Hemi, the black and red car carried heavy sponsorship from Wynn's, Charger, and Lee Eliminators among others.
