The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 was a German single-seat fighter designed under Kurt Tank, entering Luftwaffe service in 1941. The A-series was built around the air-cooled BMW 801 radial and proved a formidable opponent for Allied fighters, combining high speed, heavy armament, and an excellent roll rate; it served on every front as both interceptor and fighter-bomber. It remains one of the most respected piston-engine fighters of the war.
This is the 1992 Revell AG (Germany) release of the 1/72 Fw 190 A, skill level 2, with box art by J. Velc. Carries a period Borgfeldt (Canada) Ltd. importer sticker (Scarborough, Ontario). Completed model length approx. 12.2 cm; paint and cement not included.
