Top Fuel dragsters are the fastest-accelerating machines in motorsport. Their supercharged, nitromethane-burning Hemi V8s make thousands of horsepower and cover the quarter-mile in under five seconds. In the 1990s Shelly Anderson was one of the few women racing in NHRA Top Fuel, following the trail Shirley Muldowney had blazed. Her dragster ran in Western Auto’s Parts America colours with Havoline sponsorship, in white, blue and orange with a big blue chevron down the body. This 1997 Revell Monogram kit lets you build her car in 1/25 scale, from the blown Hemi to the tall rear wing.
