Cristen Powell earned her Super Comp licence the day after her 16th birthday in 1995 and rose quickly through Top Alcohol Dragster before joining Team Scandia's Royal Purple Top Fuel effort for 1997. In just her seventh professional race she took the win at the Mopar Parts Nationals in Englishtown, then went on to 300+ mph runs in Seattle and at the U.S. Nationals. Revell-Monogram marked the win with this limited edition release of 10,000 numbered kits.
