Sud Aviation's Caravelle moved the engines to the tail, clearing the wing and giving the cabin a quietness propeller era passengers had never known. The nose came from de Havilland under licence, which is why it looks so much like a Comet. Swissair flew its Caravelle IIIs on European routes from 1960, each airframe named for a Swiss canton or city, and SAS was an early customer as well.

Reissue of Revell's original 1961 tooling, sold as a historical kit. Skill level 3.
