Description
RAG03307 - Revell - 1/72 Leopard 1A5 + BIBER (Discontinued) - WWHP113741
Preowned, Resealed, Mint inside, Box worn
The Leopard 1 was West Germany’s first post-war main battle tank and became one of the most widely used tanks in NATO. The Leopard 1A5 upgrade, which entered Bundeswehr service from 1987, added a new fire control system and improved turret armour. The Biber (Beaver) armoured bridgelayer was built on the same Leopard 1 chassis. It carries a 22 metre bridge that slides forward horizontally instead of swinging up overhead, which keeps the vehicle hard to spot. Canada operated both the Leopard C1 and the Biber, which makes this pairing especially fitting for Canadian armour builders.
- Two complete 1/72 scale vehicles in one box: a Leopard 1A5 main battle tank and a Biber armoured bridgelayer
- 337 parts on grey plastic sprues, packed in two sealed bags
- Biber bridge with separate halves and launching gear
- Decal sheet with Bundeswehr markings, including national crosses, tactical numbers and Y-series registration plates
- Multilingual instruction booklet with painting and marking guide
- Completed lengths of 15.8 cm (Leopard 1A5) and 13.2 cm (Biber)
