The Ferrari 156/85 carried Michele Alboreto's 1985 championship challenge, the closest a Ferrari driver came to the title in the 1980s. Alboreto won in Canada and Germany and led the standings at mid-season before late-year turbo failures handed the championship to Prost. Driven by Alboreto (#27) and Stefan Johansson (#28), whose name decals are both on the sheet along with René Arnoux, who started the season in the car.
