Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Ford Tri-Motor, affectionately nicknamed the "Tin Goose," was an American three-engined transport aircraft first flown in 1926 and built by the Ford Motor Company's aviation division. With its corrugated aluminium skin and trio of radial engines, it was one of the first successful all-metal airliners, carrying around eleven passengers and helping establish scheduled commercial air travel in the late 1920s and 1930s. Around 199 were built, and some remained in service for decades, including with Island Airlines on Lake Erie. This is Monogram's 1975 boxing of its long-running 1/77 kit, decalled for Island Airlines.
